Swiss CNC Machinists:
Program, Set-up and Operate Swiss CNC (Star) Lathes with Fanuc Controls and IEMCA/SMW Bar Loaders. Demonstrated experience or a strong willingness to learn the machining of parts to close tolerances and high quality finishes. Must have good mechanical and math aptitude, proficiency with personal computers, manual dexterity, ability to multi-task, and attention to detail. Ability to read blueprints, use all inspection equipment; micrometers, calipers, comparator, etc. Must be a self starter, high initiative, good work ethic, ability to work as part of a team. Previous work history in an ISO environment is preferred. 1st and 2nd shift positions available for most levels.
Set-up and operate Brown & Sharpe screw machines, CNC Milling (Matsuura and Haas) machines. 1st shift available.
First Class Machinist/Toolmaker:
Person needed to build tooling used in the manufacturing process as well as some short run prototype work. Must be able to work from blueprints and able to operate mills, lathes and grinders etc.
Qualified candidate will perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections of turned and milled parts to close tolerances. Must demonstrate a working knowledge of ISO, ability to use inspection instruments and read prints. Candidate will possess attention to detail, high accuracy, good dexterity, mechanical aptitude, ability to deal well with customers & suppliers, and be able to handle several tasks concurrently. Quality Inspector will help ensure company adheres to ISO procedures.
Duties include quoting new/repeat business, transitioning jobs to manufacturing, process development, tooling analysis, programming, purchasing of tooling and raw materials. Mechanical Engineering degree and CAD-CAM experience preferred. Machine shop experience with Brown & Sharpe, Swiss CNC, and Milling required.
