The addition of our Brown & Sharpe Micro-Hite® DCC, (Direct Computer Control) coordinate measuring machine in our inspection Dept. gives us the ability to inspect more complex parts then ever before.
GRAYCER ADDS LARGER TURNING CAPACITY -HARDINGE GS 200 CNC LATHE
The machine features a 25-hp (18.51-kW) spindle drive (with Fanuc Control) and includes a 3-jaw power chuck as standard equipment. The GS 200/66 includes an ANSI A2-6 spindle with 2.60"/66mm through draw tube capacity and a maximum spindle speed of 4,200 rpm.

The installation of our new Rockwell 2000 tester will allow Graycer
to inspect in house the hardness of all critical components and
makes testing of incoming “preheat-treated” raw material possible.

stores the data on file or prints a spreadsheet for customer review.
The Rockwell 2000 series tester features an ASTM Recognized, electronic closed-loop
control system design unique in the
industry. Closed-loop testing is a
revolutionary technology that utilizes
motor/ encoder control and a load cell or
force transducer to apply and regulate the
test force. A closed-loop system can
constantly monitor (500x/sec) and adjust
the applied force, virtually eliminating
force errors and increasing tester accuracy and repeatability.
Inherent in a closed-loop system is a simpler base design, devoid
of the levers, leadscrews and deadweights of open-loop types.

Graycer has added 2 HAAS milling centers to its
growing milling Dept. These machines are equipped
with 4th axis indexers and Renishaw probe systems.

or locate parts such as castings or parts made from extruded stock.
